IACC’s Participation in Bengal Global Business Summit 2022

The Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce was delighted to be part of the Australian delegation to the Bengal Global Business Summit 2022, that was held on 21 & 22 April in Kolkata. The Chamber also partnered with the Australian Consulate General in Kolkata and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) for the Kolkata launch of the Update to the India Economic Strategy to 2035 launched at the summit by the Hon Barry O’Farrell AO, former Australian High Commissioner to India.

The former Australian High Commissioner to India also spoke at the sectoral session on ‘Potential Investment Opportunities in Mining, Oil & gas sector’ and highlighted that the resources sector is set to continue as the backbone of Australia-India trade.
