The Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce #AustCham India launched its ‘Financial Services’ Leadership Forum’, on 30th April in Mumbai at the residence of the Australian Consul General, Mr. Paul Murphy and it was a terrific event, with 40-45 representatives from the financial services sector, Western India chapter members and representatives from the Australian Government.
Welcome remarks and the announcement on the launch of the forum were made by Ms. Petula Thomas, CEO, IACC. A special thank you to Mr. Paul Murphy, Australian Consul-General in Mumbai, for his insightful Opening remarks and for his support. Mr. Rufus Pinto, Co-Chair of the Financial services forum, shared his vision of what the leadership forum would aim to do. Mr. Aditya Suresh, Head of Equity Research Business, Macquarie Group superbly moderated a discussion with Mr. Dhiraj Nim, Economist and FX Strategist, ANZ on the themes and issues relevant for the Indian economy.
