Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce’s participation in the Vibrant Gujarat 2024

The Australia Country Session at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit ‘Australia: Your destination for business, investment, study, and tourism’ was held on 10 January. The Welcome Address was delivered by H.E. Mr. Philip Green, Australian High Commissioner to India and a Special Address was delivered by Mr. Harsh Sanghavi, Hon Minister of Home & Disaster Management; Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs & Cultural Activities, Government of Gujarat.

Mr. Abhishek Poddar, Chairperson of IACC’s Western India Chapter and India Country Head, Macquarie Group was a panelist along with Mr. Rufus Pinto, Country Head (India), ANZ, Mr. Tim Thomas, CEO, Centre for Australia-India Relations, Dr. Jags Krishnan, Prof. Nick Birbilis and Mr. Darshan Shah. The session was moderated by Ms. Jodi McKay, Director, Australia -India CEO Forum, Business Council of Australia.

This was followed by the launch of Newland Global Group’s Compendium of Case Studies: Advocating Business Success Between Australia and India.

Australia was a Partner Country at this Summit and the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce and its members and partners had great pleasure in being part of the delegation.
