Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce’s Newland Global Group and World Trade Centre (WTC)

The Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Australian Consulate-General Mumbai, Newland Global Group and World Trade Centre (WTC), Mumbai was delighted to organize the launch of NGG’s compendium Case Studies: Advocating Business Success Between Australia and India in Mumbai on 16th Jan 2024.

The first edition of this project shares stories of 26 companies (Australian and Indian) and covers diverse sectors.

Petula Thomas CEO, IACC in her Opening Remarks congratulated Newland Global Dipen Rughani GAICD and Natasha Jha Bhaskar and the Australian Government on the launch of the compendium, which brings alive the growing 🇮🇳🇦🇺 commercial partnership. She also thanked Dr. Vijay Kalantri and Capt. Somesh Batra for hosting the event at the World Trade Centre.

This was followed by Remarks by Ms. Majell Hind, Head of Post, Australian Consulate-General Mumbai.

Mr. Dipen Rughani, CEO, NGG announced the launch of the compendium Case Studies and presented the first copies to Majell Hind, Petula Thomas, Monica Kennedy, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, Austrade, Vijay Kalantri President-AIAI, Chairman, World Trade Centre and Capt. Somesh Batra, Vice Chairman, World Trade Centre, Malini Dutt Dutt, A/g Trade and Investment Commissioner, Investment NSW, Natasha Jha Bhaskar, Director, Newland Global Group and Mr Rajiv Dubey, Independent Director of Tata International Limited.

Ms. Natasha Jha Bhaskar did a fantastic job of moderating the discussion, with useful insights from panelists Mr. Artur Zawadski, Sunrise CSP Australia and Global CEO, Professor Sanjay Zodpey President, Public Health Foundation of India, Dr Monika Kennedy, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, Austrade, Ms. Parinitaa Rajgarhiaa, Founder and Managing Partner, Zero Latency and Mr. Rajiv Dube, Independent Director of Tata International Limited on how to decode the success of Australian companies in India and Indian Companies in Australia, shift perceptions and narratives to build new business reference points, to inform companies of real business opportunities and decisions and most importantly to offer contemporary insights into policies best practices, sectoral drivers and barriers and to address anecdotal assumptions, historical hesitations, skepticism of many barriers.
